Choosing a mobile dog groomer can offer several benefits that might make it a better option
compared to traditional grooming salons. Here are some reasons why you might opt for a mobile
groomer:
1. Convenience: Mobile groomers come to your home, which saves you time and eliminates the need for
travel. This can be particularly beneficial if you have a busy schedule or if your dog gets anxious about car
rides.
2. Reduced Stress for Your Dog: The familiar environment of your home can help keep your dog calm and
relaxed during grooming. This can be especially helpful for dogs that are nervous or have negative
experiences with grooming salons.
3. Personalized Attention: With a mobile groomer, your dog is the focus of attention for the entire grooming
session. This one-on-one time can lead to a more personalized and thorough grooming experience.
4. Flexible Scheduling: Mobile groomers often offer more flexible scheduling options, making it easier to
find a time that works for you and your dog.
5. Less Exposure to Other Animals: In a mobile grooming van, your dog won’t be exposed to other animals
that might be carriers of illnesses or parasites, reducing the risk of cross-contamination.
6. Reduced Waiting Time: With a mobile groomer, you don’t have to wait for your dog to be groomed
alongside other animals. The groomer’s attention is solely on your pet, potentially speeding up the process.
7. Comfortable Environment: The mobile grooming van is typically equipped with all the necessary tools
and amenities for grooming, providing a comfortable and clean environment for your dog.
8. Better Communication: Mobile groomers often have a closer relationship with their clients and can
provide more detailed feedback and advice about your dog’s grooming needs.
Yes, the van is self contained and is equipped with air-conditioning, heat, fresh warm water, bathtub, grooming table, dryer, and all the necessary equipment to provide a complete grooming service totally within the van.
The average appointment takes about 60 minutes to 120 minutes to complete. This will vary depending on the breed, condition and length of coat, temperament of the dog, etc.
My prices are based on the breed and size of the animal, the condition of his or her coat, and what the owner requests. Some circumstances in which additional charges may incur are excessive matting, shaving down or stripping, lice/flea/tick treatment, or behavioral issues.
We recommend every 4-6 weeks depending on breed and coat type
